and today was my first official day!!! Yay for getting paid to do stuff lol.
I am working with children (love), so needless to say, I am exhausted. 2 year olds can be super fun, but they can also be super crazy. So I am le tired haha.
Anyway,
I dont want to talk about my job, but I did want to say that I am very glad to have one.
On another note, my roommate will be out of town until Monday, which is awesome, because I can just chill-ax in my apt all by myself after a long day and not have to hear her bf whining for dinner lol. Oh god, the whining!!
But
I am not complaining because my life is looking up. I have an awesome family, the best friends, a great boyfriend, a new (but old) car, and a life-saving job. So life is good.

Happy
I feel genuinely happy and hopeful for the first time in a long time. Now that I have a car, an enormous weight has been lifted off of my shoulders. Even though I need to find a job ASAP, I now have the means to find one. So tomorrow, I am going to turn in a whole bunch of applications (Provinos, World Market, Primrose School, send my resume for a potential job at my roommate's work) and get started on my new job search! I also completed my application on care.com last night and applied to a couple nanny positions, so I will keep an eye out for any babysitting postings on there too. Speaking of, I need to get on seekingsitters.com and sittercity.com...tomorrow. I'm exhausted lol.
Yesterday, I filled out an application to volunteer at the KSU Museum of History and Holocaust Education, so super yay!!! I also sent in my resume and a cover letter letting them know that if there any job postings available, I would really like them to take a look at my information and see if I meet their qualifications. You know, just in case....So fingers crossed kids.
What else happened today...
oh yeah, I watched my friend Sara's daughter Ava. Super cute. We danced and played and danced some more. Sara was the one who helped me with my car search, so I was more than happy to watch Ava for a few hours. After all, that's what friends are for.
I went to work this morning, so that's good...and then I got to see my bestie!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!
She surprised a few of us the other day saying that she would be in town, so I was super pumped to see her. Just like old times. We are def meant for each other lol. Love you Poopie!!!
Anyway, I think that summarizes my day pretty nicely.
Tomorrow, I am hitting the pavement, hanging out with Beau for a little bit, then going back home (I left my makeup there...dern) to finish cleaning what I didnt finish last week, then heading back up to the SAW on tues.
Oh and I will get some pics of the totally rad, new car on here soon. It's pretty awesome lol.
BTW, I am currently accepting any ghetto-looking car accessories to pimp out my car...just an fyi ;)

Some big news!
I got a car...ta da! It's old, it's white, and I should probably be at least 50 years older to drive it, but...it is mine. So yay! I went to the grocery store today without having to go with someone else or borrow their car, and it was soooo nice. I love being able to get stuff done however quickly I feel like, and folks, I hate dawdling in the grocery store (so it was a pain to have to go to the grocery store with someone who takes FOREVER to shop-dont get me wrong, I am grateful for their kindness, but jesus, it should not take two hours to go grocery shopping...ever).
I am also super pumped about tomorrow. I'm not sure I can talk about it (dont want to get the person involved in trouble) but just know that I am super excited to see this person!!!
Anyway, it's raining up a storm here, so I'm going to go job hunting online. But tomorrow (after church work and my visit with someone special), I'm hitting the pavement!
Dear god, I need a job haha.

hahahahaha, gee God, that was a good one.
So God, apparently, likes to play jokes on people. He likes to dangle things in front of people's faces then snatch 'em up and take 'em away! How fun.
Getting to the chase, I didnt get that big girl job. Am I disappointed? Why yes, yes I am. In fact, I'm pretty bummed. Watching my savings decrease every month because of rent, or loans, or groceries is like watching my hopes wash away in a flood. As much as I reach out to try and grab them, they are just out of reach then finally they are just gone. So yeah, it's a little depressing.
BUT
I'm still applying for jobs. I'm not giving up, but I'm definitely stressed about finances, moving back home (which will mean all my friends and family will have a funeral to attend within two months of that move because I will inevitably kill myself), and losing the self that I've created in my short adult, semi-independent life.
Plain and simple, I am scared.
There. I said it. It's out there...

Ta Da!
Another post!
So today was a really good day. My roommate has been out of town all weekend, so Ive had the place to myself. And it's been nice to have some quiet time. I like my personal space, so I always enjoy a little private time. I love my roommate, but I also take full advantage of having the place to myself for a few days. I clean everything the way I want, and it stays clean because I only have to pick up after myself. Ahhhh, refreshing.
Today I went on a walk with my friend D (Dimitrios, D for short). We had a nice talk about life, work, dogs, the uge haha. The dog section at the park always makes me want to have a dog, but alas, dogs are expensive, and I dont have a job. So there goes that one haha.
I applied to some more jobs today. A few admin assist ones and a manager/supervisor position that sounds awesome. We will see how those go. My roommate told me they are looking for to hire someone for the same job she does, so she told them about me!!!! We will see how that goes lol.
So, I'm still actively looking (Dad), so I dont need the lectures (its ok though, I know they come from a good place ;)).
Oh and did I mention how much I love my bestie Morghen?! I havent? Well guess what! I love Morghy poo!!!
Also, I've discovered that the show Sister Wives is actually very interesting and nothing like I thought it would be. Check it out!

Well, it's Sunday.
So since I gave up Facebook for Lent, I might just end up making random statuses on my blog...It's weird to have an emotion/good day/event and not let everyone know about it by making it a status on FB. I've gotten so used to "sharing" my life so easily that now it seems like I am disconnected from everyone except those I see in person. And since I can't post this post on FB, I doubt anyone will actually read this...oh it's just another catch 22 I suppose.
Anyway, it is Sunday. The only day that I actually have to wake up early, therefore I never want to. I just want to go back to bed, but I have work to do, which I like.
I can already tell that this post is going to be sucky, so you might as well stop reading (if anyone actually is). But just in case you're bored and haven't pulled the trigger yet to end the mindless drone, I will keep writing.
One thing of note, Beau and I made things official last night, so that's nice. It's nice to have a beau...named Beau hahaha. Ok that is my only pun ever about this situation. My sisters think they are soooooo funny when they make puns, which is stupid because puns are stupid. (I hate puns in case you didn't catch on. They aren't funny, and never will be funny. Get a real joke).
Moving on, I had a UTI on Thursday (tmi? idk...it's my blog, and I will share whatever I freaking want to share...so there). It was awful awful awful AWFUL awful awful awful until I finally got some cranberry juice (thanks to Beau) and went to the doctor (also thanks to Beau, and my mom without whom I would not have insurance). In addition to the UTI, I have also been getting super bad headaches and migraines for an entire week straight. Now, before you start barking that I might have a tumor, it was because I couldn't find my thyroid meds for a week, and after calling multiple doctors (who didn't help at all), things were looking bleak...but then I called my pharmacy, and wouldn't you know I had a prescription in their system that never got filled???? HALLELUJAH!!!! I was saved. No more headaches that leave me immobile, dizzy, nauseous (omg the antibiotics I got for my UTI made me soooooooooo nauseous...I totally barfed for the first time in years...tmi? get over it son).
Ok I have to go for now, but I will prob be back on later today. Tell your friends.
